Welcome to EVOLV-Chicago

EVOLV-Chicago is Chicago's premier rotary engine enthusiast club. We have grown to over 200 members in the past four years and continue to grow every year. We welcome all rotary enthusiasts and their friends to our club -- you are not required to own a rotary-powered vehicle to become a part of EVOLV-Chicago.

What is EVOLV-Chicago?

EVOLV-Chicago was born of the love of the rotary engine. We are proud to be owners and enthusiasts of this unique piston-less engine. Mazda is the only manufacturer of the rotary engine and it is used in the RX-7 and the RX-8 (the only car currently in production using the RENESIS rotary engine). In 2005, RedSheDevil wanted to know where all the rotary owners were in the Chicago area -- now spanning over 4 states, EVOLV-Chicago has grown to over 200 members. Come join the fun of EVOLV-Chicago!

Mazda's rotary engined sports car that captured the hearts and adulation of rotorheads everywhere. In 1978, the first Mazda RX-7 rolls off the line, and it incorporates a "radical" idea: a peak-performing sports car that's also affordable.
